What do I do to get saved and become a Child of God?

Dear God in Heaven, Thank you for the gift of Jesus Christ. I believe He died for my sins that I might have eternal life. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins. I accept Jesus now as my Lord and Savior and confess His rule over my life from this moment and the rest of my days. I choose life by turning from the sins of my past to a new life in Jesus.

I believe, according to your word that I am a child of God now. Thank you for this wonderful gift of salvation. I, therefore, ask you to fill me with the Holy Spirit, peace, and joy. Let the beauty of Jesus show forth in me. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.

As Christians, we are members of God’s household, called to function, participate, and minister in a particular place within the body of Christ. A healthy body requires that each member do its part well. A healthy church requires its members who are sacrificially committed, and equipped to do the work God has prepared in advance for us to do well.

 Eph. 2:10, 19; 4:12

ECWM Church holds its members in high esteem. We expect members of ECWM to lead as missionaries of the gospel to all people. God in his sovereignty place us in this city and in this world, among its people, in this moment in time, for a reason

 Act. 17:26-27

Being a member of ECWM church is really about being a member of a family. All members are disciples of  Jesus Christ and unified by their identity in Christ. This unity is expressed in loving God together, loving fellow Christians, and loving all people. Members who have entered into a covenant with their local church (ECWM) are called to a higher degree of responsibility and service.

Ephesians. 3:14-16

Leaders are as well covenanted to assist members first and foremost, to love and lead, provide counsel and help, and pray for, teach, and guide them. “Above all, keep loving one another earnestly (As if your life depended on it), since love covers a multitude of  sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve  one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace”

1 Peter. 4:8-10

"Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood."

Acts 20:28
