Even youths get tired and weary; even strong young men clumsily stumble. But those who wait for the LORD's help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles' wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.

Isaiah 40:30-31

How can a young person maintain a pure life? By guarding it according to your instructions! With all my heart I seek you. Do not allow me to stray from your commands!

Psalm 119:9-10

Let no one look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in your speech, conduct, love, faithfulness, and purity.

Youth Ministry: Evangelist Feweh

"Leading youth into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, His followers, and His world"

The Youth Ministry consists of young men and women between the ages of 11 and 25. His purpose is to help youth have encountered and deepened their relationship with the Master through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore youth meet to talk, work and play in a manner honorable to Christ, realizing that Jesus is someone who loves children, has a sense of humor and serves others! Because our young people are the future of our Ministry, Youth Ministry is committed to the spiritual growth of the young people at the Church.

All this is being accomplished through consistent teaching, praying and asking the Holy Spirit to:

Empower them to embrace Christ through consistent corporate and personal worship and through their service to God
Teach them how to develop a meaningful relationship with God through prayer
Teach them how to share the Gospel and their personal faith with non-believers
Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them both in word and deed

The Youth Ministry has the responsibility for conducting the Sunday service the last Sunday of each month which we refer to as “Cool and Creative Sunday”. If you wish to are a young person and wish to join the youth Ministry please at (301) 880-1610. Someone will be waiting to answer your call.
