"Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you." Hebrews 13:17
Initially named Evergreen Miracle Outreach Ministries, Ever Creative Word Ministries (ECWM) was founded on January 12, 1999 in New York by Prophet Godson E.K. Seworye. ECWM is a non-denominational fellowship of believers bonded together by their faith in Jesus Christ. Prophet Godson’s primary purpose was to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach and demonstrate the Living Word of God.
After his first wife's death, Prophet Godson married Ann-marie P. Tebbs Cooper and moved to Silver Spring, Maryland. In March of 2009 they started a small bible study in their home. To accommodate the growing number of attendees they moved the ministry to Burtonsville, Maryland on October 1, 2009.
ECWM is a multinational congregation truly united by one faith. In addition, ECWM is totally committed to growing in the Word of God and in seeking the grace of God through prayer. Our membership’s diversity and expertise is rounded out by a variety of personal backgrounds. Coming from different countries, our members speak multiple languages and have excelled in different cultural environments. While our members come from many different backgrounds, we are united in our belief that the Bible is the Word of God and our final authority in all things including, character and moral standards.
Our membership is designed to ensure that ECWM remains a congregation of respect where everyone is held in mutual high regard. Because every human being is created in the image of God, we strongly believe all ECWM members and visitors deserve to be treated with respect and civility once they are in our church. As part of the body of Christ we value the worth of every individual and we respect the dignity of each member in our Ministry. We take responsibility for the consideration of the rights of others to promote and maintain the integrity of the church with the help and work of the Holy Spirit through the systematic instructions of the Word at ECWM. We take responsibility for acting to uphold Ever Creative Word Ministries’ standards.
ECWM believes in evangelization of the lost, exaltation of God and the edification of the believer.
"Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood."
"Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
Pastor Godson is the Senior Pastor of ECWM. Called to the ministry in 1981 as an Evangelist, he conducted and held many healing crusades in towns and cities in Ghana. He takes pride in preaching the gospel to the same people again and again, and in holding revival services in churches.
Under the direction of the Lord, He and Evelyn N. Seworye, his late first wife, moved to Liberia, West Africa after they got married in 1987. They served in that country until the civil war. He regrets deeply and profoundly the death of his first wife Evelyn N. Seworye in 2003. He returned to the United States to continue his work in ministry. He is a Prophet and a teacher.
As a Prophet, he has prophesied extensively about many nations, Liberia, Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire and the United States. Today it can be verified and confirmed that every declaration and word of prophecy he has said over the state and the future of those countries has come to pass in Jesus name, while some are still being fulfilled. Prophet Godson spoke in graphic detail about the looming judgment to face the ministers as a prelude to the terrible Liberia's Civil War. He foresaw the beginning of the war and gave daily and systematic directions of its movements. He also foresaw and spoke about changes in government in Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, and several other nations before they happened. In 1991 and 1992.
"Our Vision is Leading Individuals unto the Discovery and Fulfillment of their Purpose."
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
"We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves."1 Thessalonians 5:12
Prophet Godson prophesied a major terrorist attack against the Eastern Part of the United States. He also prophesied that many calamities would strike New York several times prior to the September 11 2001 incursion.
As a teacher, He is always on the move. With a strong emphasis on faith and revival, he ministers regularly in churches and provide solid training by holding seminars for pastors and Bible conferences for all believers abroad and in the United States. He has been married to Ann-marie P. Tebbs Seworye since September of 2007. He is the father of two boys
